Ivermectin is set up for a “Wrap Up” Smear, but the effort gets debunked

The “Wrap Up” Smear, as explained by Rep. Nancy Pelosi, works as follows:

  1. Demonize your political opponent by telling the public lies about them.
  2. The press reports the lies as if they were true.
  3. You use the press reports as validation that your lies are true.

It would seem that this same tactic is being used in the pharmaceutical industry.  We have already seen this done with hydroxychloroquine.  Now we can see lately how ivermectin is being set up for a “Wrap Up” Smear in the words that the media is using to describe ivermectin in their stories about Joe Rogan.  The media is trying to get us to think of ivermectin strictly as a veterinary dewormer of no value to humans.  This type of defamation is a type of censorship.

An older Fox News article exposes the motivation for wanting to smear ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.  This article appeared while the vaccines were still in the testing phase.  At the time, it was necessary that no other treatment options exist to allow for the Emergency Use Authorizations of the inoculation.  If other options existed, the EUA could not be issued, and the inoculation investments of the pharmaceutical companies would not pan out.  Anyone invested in the inoculations would have a motivation to smear competitors.

Unfortunately for those who wanted to set up the “Wrap Up” Smear, an independent investigator decided to fact-check the articles about clogged Oklahoma ERs.  This investigator called into the Infowars show and said that he had called all of the Oklahoma hospitals he knew of and could not find any cases of ivermectin overdose.  This appears to be another case of “making stuff up.”

Northeastern Health System – Sequoyah had a popup about the matter up on its site by the next day.

Meanwhile, the AMA is trying to ban ivermectin.  I am not aware of any link between the AMA and the creation of the story, but the AMA would likely have used the stories to push the public to outrage, had the stories not been debunked.  The FDA needs to tell the AMA to go pound sand.  The FDA may need to tell Anthony Fauci to go pound sand as well.  It would work if they stood together in doing so.

As for the dishonestly, fraud vitiates everything, including liability protections.
