Midatech files patent US10300022: Nanoparticle delivery compositions

Nanoparticle delivery systems for use in targeting biologically active agents to the central nervous system comprise a composition comprising (a) a nanoparticle comprising: (i) a core comprising a metal and/or a semiconductor; and (ii) a corona comprising a plurality of ligands covalently linked to the core, wherein said ligands comprise a carbohydrate, insulin and/or a glutathione; and (b) the at least one agent to be delivered to the CNS. Methods of treatment and diagnosing CNS disorders utilizing the nanoparticle delivery systems and related screening methods are also disclosed.

In other words, the industry knows how to penetrate the blood-brain barrier, if that is what they want to do.

According to the patent, this technology targets endothelial cells.

The endothelium is a single layer of squamous endothelial cells that line the interior surface of blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. The endothelium forms an interface between circulating blood or lymph in the lumen and the rest of the vessel wall. Endothelial cells form the barrier between vessels and tissue and control the flow of substances and fluid into and out of a tissue.

Endothelial cells in direct contact with blood are called vascular endothelial cells whereas those in direct contact with lymph are known as lymphatic endothelial cells. Vascular endothelial cells line the entire circulatory system, from the heart to the smallest capillaries.

These cells have unique functions that include fluid filtration, such as in the glomerulus of the kidney, blood vessel tone, hemostasis, neutrophil recruitment, and hormone trafficking. Endothelium of the interior surfaces of the heart chambers is called endocardium. An impaired function can lead to serious health issues throughout the body.

Hormone trafficking would include insulin.

Nanoparticles described in the patent have a potential to gum up any of the fluid filtration processes described in the Endothelium Wikipedia article.  If these are the type of nanoparticles used in the jabs, this could explain many of the adverse events seen following administration of the jabs.  Unfortunately, the nanoparticles in the jabs may not be the only ones we are exposed to.
