Neuralink is building technology that could be embedded in a person’s brain, where it could both record brain activity and potentially stimulate it. The technology they are pursuing at Neuralink is what Elon Musk calls “neural lace” technology, implanting tiny brain electrodes that may one day upload and download thoughts.
